2026 Scholarship Recipients

This scholarships is incredibly valuable to my family and I as it supports me to pursue my passion in Dietetics and Nutrition. I am passionate about people living their longest, happiest and fullest lives, knowing food is the most vital and accessible key in this goal.

I want to extend my wholehearted appreciation to the Chicagoland Food Science Foundation and the generous donors who selflessly invest in the future of our industry. It is through your generosity that we are motivated to strive for excellence in our education and research. With this opportunity, I am excited to continue my educational development towards becoming a flavor/fragrance chemist. It is a profound privilege to be chosen for this prestigious award, and I extend my sincerest gratitude for your generosity and continual support.

I am incredibly grateful to be a recipient of the CFSF 2026-27 Scholarship. After completing my BS in Chemical Engineering, it has been a joy to find Food Science and combine my two passions as a PhD student in Food Engineering. I am very excited to bring my skills back to the food industry and create innovative products. Thank you for this opportunity!

This scholarship will give me the opportunity to focus on studying food science and nutrition at a deeper level, bringing me one step closer to my goal of helping others live tasty and healthier lives. Being awarded this scholarship is incredibly meaningful to me as it eases the financial burden of school. It’s also extremely motivating to have this recognition of my dedication and passion in this field. I will make sure to make this most of this amazing opportunity.

Receiving the 2026-2027 Chicagoland Food Science Scholarship means I can continue my research in sustainability of our food system and make our world a healthier place.
