Committee Structure
AUDITING COMMITTEE: Responsible for ensuring the annual audit is conducted in a satisfactory manner.
FINANCE COMMITTEE: Responsible for annual budget, for reviewing all financial
reports, and for presenting financial status to the Board.
DEVELOPMENT / FUND-RAISING COMMITTEE: Responsible for supporting all fund-raising events and identifying fund-raising opportunities.
GIVING COMMITTEE: Identifies and recommends giving opportunities. Manages the CFSF Competitive Scholarship Program.
GOVERNANCE COMMITTEE: Manages all changes to policies, bylaws, and call for board members.
MARKETING / COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE: Manages the
creation and distribution of marketing and communications materials.
OUTREACH / OUTREACH EVENTS: Drives awareness of CFSF by inspiring today’s youth and increasing their awareness of a food science career path. Time commitment: Volunteering at one or more events.
